A man has been charged following armed robbery in Winchester and Shirley this week.
The robberies took place at Ladbrokes on Shirley High Street on June 19, Coral on Stoney Lane, Winchester on June 20 and Ladbrokes on Shirley High Street on June 21. Cash was taken in each incident.
Nigel Roe, 34, of no fixed abode has been charged with three counts of robbery and three counts of possession of an offensive weapon (a broken bottle).
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today.
