WINCHESTER Rotary joined clubs from all over the district at the annual Kids Out day on Wednesday June 14.
This was the first year that the event took place at Marwell Zoo instead of Paulton Park.
Winchester Rotarians accompanied groups from Osborne School and Kings' School.
This year saw scores of children with special educational needs enjoying a fantastic day out, with the added advantage of brilliant sunshine throughout!
Before the Osborne party set off, Winchester Mayor David McLean and Winchester Rotary President Fiona Whitehouse were taken on a tour of the school by headteacher Sonia O'Donnell and introduced to staff and pupils.
This visit has become an annual event and is one of the earliest in the new Mayor's calendar.
