MOTORISTS should be aware of roadworks on the motorways near Winchester.
Repairs to the safety barrier along the M3 at junction 10 near Compton starts this week. Lane closures will be in place on the northbound carriageway overnight, between 10pm and 6am, from Monday March for five nights.
Further south at junction 12 near Chandler's Ford, there will be work to maintain street lighting starting this week.
The northbound exit and entry slip roads and the westbound lane over the bridge at the junction will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, from Thursday March 9 for eight nights. Clearly signed diversions will be in place via the adjacent junctions.
Meanwhile resurfacing between junctions 12 Chandlers Ford to 11 near Otterbourne finishes this week.
The northbound carriageway from junction 12 to junction 11 will be closed overnight, between 9pm-6am, until Wednesday March 8. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via Otterbourne.
