Shoplifter sent to jail
A SERIAL shoplifter has been jailed after admitting nine thefts from Winchester stores.
Michelle Humble, 31, of Hyde Gate, has been jailed for nine weeks after persistently stealing alcohol from shops including M&S on the High Street, Tesco Express on Andover Road, Co-op on City Road and Sainsbury on Middle Brook Street.
Magistrates said she was a prolific offender targeting the same shops and banned her from those four shops for 12 months.
Humble was also ordered to pay £151.51, the value of the alcohol she stole.
