HUNDREDS of people pounded the streets of a Hampshire city in a special 10k race.
The runners braved cold and wet conditions in Winchester and began outside the Guildhall before heading up the High Street and along Jewry Street.
The return leg passed through Kingsworthy and the village of Headbourne Worthy and finished at the City of Winchester Football Club ground.
Participants received custom medals and t-shirts.
This was the 35th edition of the race organised by Offbeat.
Spencer Wakling, from Offbeat, said: "The event went very well. We have been lucky that it didn't rain during the race. It was a very good race and we will be back next year for the 36th year."
