A SOUTHAMPTON man has appeared in court accused of smuggling contraband into Winchester Prison.
Wayne Parker, 39, of Oakridge Road, Redbridge, has been charged with two offences related to bringing contraband, including mobile phones, into the jail between February 1 2015 and May 31 2016 The charges come after an investigation by officers from Hampshire Constabulary's serious and organised crime unit.
Parker has released on unconditional bail and is due to appear at the city's crown court on March 9
