FLIGHTS are being cancelled and delayed at Southampton Airport and ferries across the Solent are facing disruption after fog descended on Hampshire.
Journeys to Southampton from Guernsey and Manchester are expected to arrive up to give hours late while flights to Cork, Aberdeen, Paris and Nantes have been cancelled.
Meanwhile Red Jet services from Southampton to West cowes are being affected by the weather and only one boat shuttle is currently running on the route.
Traffic on the M27 was slow in both directions between Southampton and Portsmouth and there were also problems on the M3 in both directions.
There were delays of an hour on the M3 southbound following a crash near Winchesterservices, which is blocking one lane of the carriageway.
