TWO men have died after a horror crash on a Hampshire road.

Emergency services were called to the incident on the A30 near Nether Wallop at about 7am this morning.

A 63-year-old Salisbury man, who was driving a white Citroen, and a 58-year-old Reading man, who was driving a blue Volkswagen vehicle, were both pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no other people involved and the next of kin have been informed.

Investigations into the exact circumstances of the crash are ongoing and officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident or either of the vehicles beforehand.

Firefighters from Salisbury were also in attendance to ensure the two vehicles were made safe.
