ALL 700 places on the Santa Fun Run in Winchester next month has been taken.

But there's still time to enter the first-ever Santa Fun Run in Southampton being held to raise funds for Naomi House.

The run on November 27 will set of from Southampton Solent University’s Spark Building at 9.30am and make their way along a 4km route through the city centre’s parks and streets in their bright red Santa suits.

Keith Wilson, marketing manager for Naomi House & Jacksplace, said: “We are delighted that the Winchester Santa Fun Run has sold out. The event has become a key part of Winchester’s Christmas celebrations and we hope to be able to do the same for Southampton.

"We would urge people to sign up soon so they have time to receive their free Santa suit. We expect the two fun runs to raise around £40,000 towards creating a magical and memorable Christmas at our hospices.”

Naomi House & Jacksplace care for life-limited and life-threatened children, young people and their families from across southern England.
