A PAIR of Winchester twins have been sentenced for shoplifting.

Daniel and Timothy Kempster, both 34 and of no fixed abode, but formerly of Portal Road, Highcliffe, admitted stealing razor blades, valued at £644 from Boots in Winchester.

Daniel pleaded guilty to three other thefts from local shops including steaks and a bottle of vodka from M&S.

He was jailed for four months with magistrates in Basingstoke saying he was a prolific offender who had breached a community order and conditions of licence. He was also told to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Timothy was jailed for two months but it was suspended for 12 months with a drug rehabilitation requirement.
