GROUPS in and around Winchester could be in line for a cash boost.
Grants of up to £500 are available from Winchester City Council but time is running out to get them as the deadline for applications is October 4.
Applications could be for a health-related activity, a new or additional piece of equipment for a sports club, promotional material for an arts event or project, or a community activity.
Winchester City Council Portfolio Holder for Estates and Local Economy, Cllr Steve Miller, said: “Small grants have been a valuable source of funding for smaller organisations which have enabled a multitude of activities across the district.”
