ARE you a superb singer, fantastic dancer or a mystic magician?

Well, you're in luck! Britain's Got Talent is coming to Winchester next month.

The team behind the hit TV show that put Susan Boyle and Diversity on the road to international stardom will be holding live auditions at the Railway Inn.

They will only be spending one evening in the city as part of a nationwide hunt for acts good enough to take part in the new series.

Amelia Brown, the show’s executive producer, said: “We’ve had some amazing winners over the years. They range from this year’s champion – the first magician to win the show – right through to Paul Potts, Diversity and Collabro.

“We can’t wait to see what talent Winchester has to offer.

“Anyone can apply – there’s no age limit and we’re looking for all kinds of talents. If you’ve got something special to show us make sure you apply – you never know where it might take you.”

Presented by Ant and Dec, BGT has been one of Britain’s biggest TV hits since it first took to the airwaves a decade ago.

This year marked the show’s 10th anniversary, with Richard Jones being crowned the winner after captivating the nation with his mind-reading act and including a moving tribute to fellow magician Fergus Anckorn.

Later this year Richard will fulfil his dream of performing in front of the Royal Family at the Royal Variety Performance.

The show’s other successes include Scottish singer Susan Boyle, 55, who has sold more than 20 million records worldwide.

Street dance troupe Diversity have had five sell-out tours while Paul Potts is a multi-platinum-selling artist after performing 600 concerts and selling more than five million records.

BGT will be visiting the Railway Inn on Monday August 1 between 7pm and 10pm.

The venue only accepts people who are over the age of 18.

Aspiring acts can also apply by going online and visiting itv.com/talent and register for one of the audition days later in the year. They can also send in a video of their act.
