A POP-UP restaurant will be appearing in Hampshire before the start of a major food festival.
Wallops Wood Cottages are hosting a pop-up restaurant in one of their award-winning self-catering cottages before the Hampshire Fare Food Festival.
This year’s festival will be celebrating its 25th anniversary and will see events across the county.
On July 7, the pop-up restaurant will operating in Wallops Wood Cottages, Sheardley Lane, Droxford, in collaboration with other Hampshire Fare members T.A.S.T.E. Dining Company and Discover Wines.
The temporary restaurant will give diners a unique opportunity to visit Wallops Wood Cottages to enjoy the view from the hillside in the South Downs National Park, which normally only their guests get to see.
Canapes and a four course seasonal menu created by Tim Trussler of T.A.S.T.E. Dining Company using local ingredients sourced from a number of Hampshire Fare members will be on offer, with optional matching wines selected by Janine Pert of Discover Wines.
The pop-up restaurant will be open from 7.30pm and the adult tickets are from £30.
