DYKES Roy "Dickie" Lt.Commander DSC, RNVR (retired) "Crossed the bar" on Wednesday 27th April, aged 96. Widower of his dear wife Iris, father to Maureen and Stephen, grandfather, and great grandfather. "Dickie" served in the Battle of the Atlantic, the Artic, and the Mediterranean. He devoted his later years to securing a campaign medal (Artic Star) for those who served on the Arctic Convoys of WWII. Funeral Service at All Hallows Parish Church, Whitchurch, Hampshire at 2.30 p.m. on Monday 16th May. Please, no flowers. Donations to The Dogs Trust, c/o S & J.Maddocks, Andover, SP10 3HN.
