A POPULAR Winchester backstreet pub is on the market.
The King Alfred pub in Hyde is for sale through Davis Coffer Lyons’ Pubs and Bars team.
Leasehold offers of £99,950 are being sought on behalf of the private operators for the characterful, detached property which also includes five recently refurbished en-suite letting rooms.
The pub in Saxon Road includes open plan trading areas with seating for about 85 people, and a large beer garden.
Keith Goodwin, associate director, Davis Coffer Lyons, said: “The King Alfred is a well-established business which has been owned and operated by the current owners for the past 20 years and are soon retiring.
"Trade is primarily drawn from the immediate and surrounding areas and is further enhanced by guests using the B & B accommodation.”
The leaseholder Janet Graham was unavailable for comment.
