Pensioner, 76, faces court over alleged hit and run with motorcyclist
A SOUTHAMPTON pensioner faces prosecution after an alleged hit and run in the Meon Valley A 76-year-old man has been reported for the offences of careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident on the B3035 Corhampton Down, near Bishop's Waltham.
The collision happened on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 13 on the B3035 and involved a red Kia Ce’ed and a motorcycle.
The police took action after a member of the public came forward following a police appeal, said a police spokesman.
A 58-year-old motorcyclist from Waltham Chase was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries.
