Allotments on offer in Winchester
ALLOTMENTS are on offer for residents as part of a new housing development.
Kings Worthy Parish Council, Winchester City Council and developer HAB Housing has reached agreement allowing work to start on the 50 homes to the south of Eversley Park.
As part of discussions a section of land looks set to be given over to extend the park.
Registered as a Field in Trust, meaning it should not be developed for at least 80 years, it will be house a wildflower meadow, running track and allotments.
Parishioners who might be interested in allotments should make contact.
