Fire at Winchester pub
A DEEP fat fryer caused a fire in a Winchester pub.
Firefighters from Winchester were called after a fire broke out at the Old GaolHouse pub in Jewry Street.
It caused minor damage to the kitchen and the crew of five had to use two breathing apparatus.
The incident happened on Sunday morning just after midnight and no one was injured.
