Horse escape warning as vandals damage fencing
LANDOWNERS are being warned after vandalism to fences allowed horses to roam the Hampshire countryside.
Several padlocks have been damaged near Wickham in the past week, breaching secure fencing.
The motive is unknown and it does not appear to be linked to other crimes, police said.
Animal owners are advised to check their perimeters regularly and look out for breaches.
