HUNDREDS of people didn’t let the rain ruin their enjoyment of the annual Easton Fete.
The event saw a crowd of more than 500 people gather at the Village Hall and David Roth Memorial Cricket Ground on Bank Holiday Monday.
There were musical performances which went down a storm with the crowd from The Dogends as well as ukulele performances in the evening.
Children also enjoyed a variety of games and there was also ferret racing.
Easton Fete committee member, Sally Stone said: “It was a huge success, there were lots of games and everybody was having a great time despite the drizzly weather.
“Thanks to everybody that helped and everybody that came, we are looking forward to next year already.”
The fete raised £6,000 for local causes including the Easton Village Hall, Easton and Martyr Worthy Cricket Club and Itchen Valley Church.
