THEY are more accustomed to fighting legal battles, but these Winchester solicitors faced their own challenge as they raised money for a hospice.
Twelve staff and friends of Shentons Solicitors, based in Staple Gardens, abseiled 100m down Portsmouth's Spinnaker Tower.
They raised £3,120 for Countess Mountbatten Hospice, which supports people with life-limiting illnesses.
Elisabeth Pollard, partner with the firm, said she was "extremely proud of all the staff who took part, not just for the money they raised, but for the very brave personal challenge they each took on."
She also thanked Barrie Jones, husband of a staff member, who raised £1,170.
