A CHARITY fashion show returns to Winchester later this summer.

The fundraising event, which aims to showcase both independent boutiques and national brands based in Winchester, takes place on August 22 at the Guildhall to raise money for a local children's charity.

After being set up in 2012, the Winchester Charity Fashion Show has been able to raise funds for several not-for-profit organisations and this year will see Naomi House and Jacksplace the beneficiary nominated.

The show director, Mitch Allen, said: "Winchester has such a great fashion following, it seemed the perfect place to host our fashion show. This year we are supporting Naomi House and Jacksplace, I couldn’t think of a better charity to raise funds for.

"This year we are bigger and better than ever before, we have had great support from the local community and our wonderful sponsors at Denplan and Capital FM South coast."

The team are currently scouting for models and anyone wishing to take part should visit winchestercharityfashionshow.co.uk where tickets can also be purchased.

They cost £15 for general admission of £35 for the hospitality package which includes a three-course pre-show dinner at Hotel du Vin.
