A CHARITY near Sutton Scotney benefited from a fund-raising walk by the Mayor of Test Valley.
On April 25 the mayor, Cllr Jan Lovell, led a sponsored walk around the fields of Hill Farm, Sutton Scotney, the home of the Boaz Project.
This horticulture-based charity was established seven years ago to provide a day centre where adults with learning disabilities could grow plants, care for animals, learn to cook and develop craft and woodworking skills.
The walk of around two and a half miles included the private tracks of Hill Farm.
The mayor, with Boaz members, volunteers, friends and supporters of Boaz joined in supporting this very worthy cause.
The Boaz Open Day, Fayre and Plant Sale that will be held on June 13 at Hill Farm.
