THE home of Hampshire cricket will soon be home to some of the county's finest produce too.

The Ageas Bowl as signed a new corporate partnership with Hampshire Fare, marked with an event at Chewton Glen Hotel in New Milton, which will see the two organisations collaborate on a number of activities over the coming year.

The first few big events will see Fare markets at the ground on May 15, 22 and July 23 for the 2015 NatWest T20 Blast campaign.

Led by 24-year old captain James Vince, Hampshire will be looking to reach a record sixth consecutive T20 Finals Day this season.

Tracy Fare, commercial manager of Hampshire Fare, said: “We feel it is very fitting that Hampshire cricket and Hampshire Fare are working together as they both represent a core part of Hampshire's heritage.

“We are particularly excited for our members that a new audience will become aware of the quality and abundance of Hampshire food and drink through this series of match day markets. We also believe that the markets will enhance the experience of the match days for visitors, showcasing the best of Hampshire.

“The market at The Ageas Bowl on July 23 will be a special Festival Market as part of the award-winning Hampshire Food Festival, which is organised by Hampshire Fare and runs throughout July.”

Hampshire cricket commercial director, Stuart Robertson, added: “We are very proud to represent Hampshire in a sporting context and are now delighted to be able to showcase the world-class produce of the county's farmers and producers at our NatWest T20 Blast matches. We are always looking to improve the experience for customers on match days and this definitely adds another dimension to our offer.”
