BLACKFIELD & Langley went goal mad in extra time to reach the semi-finals of the Sydenhams League Cup.

After taking the lead through Jesse Gould, they trailed Horndean 2-1 on an atrocious pitch at Five Heads Park, but clawed their way back with an 88th-minute Dan Cann leveller.

The Watersiders were down to the bare bones with just two players on the bench, both carrying injuries.

One of them, Dan Munday, struck twice in extra time, Gould got another and Edgar Zanin polished off a 6-2 win by chipping the ‘keeper from 30 yards out on the left.

“We’re chuffed to bits and look forward to playing Portchester in the semi-final,” said assistant manager Chris Farrell.
