DEADPAN comic Jack Dee will get a new college radio station off to a flying start.
He will be featured on 7radio, which has been set up by students at Peter Symonds College, in Winchester.
Dee, a former Symonds' student himself, can be heard on the Valentine's Day broadcast from the sixth form college.
7radio was founded by students James Silsbury and Josh Lewkowicz and will be broadcast daily through the college internet site.
The pair went to Dee's Soho office in London to chat to him. As well as interviews, the station will feature a range of music, such as Asian rock and an indie chart.
James said: "The new radio station will work really well at Symonds because we have such a diverse range of students.
"We will aim to please everyone, thanks to the enormous support students and staff alike have contributed in the early stages and overwhelming support from the senior management team. This wouldn't have happened without them."
