A PUB in Winchester closed its doors for the last time on Friday, as the landlord left for pastures new.
Landlord Paul Barden shut the Albion in Stockbridge Road last week following his announcement 'to take time out for reflection at an Andorran missionary church'.
He took the pub over with Hester Soulsby in November 2011, giving it a makeover in order to catch passing commuters and city slickers.
The pub is believed to already be under new management and is expected to reopen on Friday.
