ONE of the south’s premier choirs is set to light up Winchester Cathedral this weekend.
The Waynflete Singers will perform Handel’s Messiah alongside period instrument ensemble Florilegium.
Conducted by Andrew Lumsden the concert features Sophie Bevan, soprano; Lawrence Zazzo, counter-tenor; James Gilchrist, tenor; and Brindley Sherratt, bass.
It starts at 7.30pm on Saturday, December 6.
