A WINCHESTER theatre has made redundancies in a bid to save money.
The Theatre Royal has had a staff reshuffle, but refused to confirm how many redundancies have been made when asked by the Chronicle.
It is advertising online for a new duty manager, front of house assistant, interim general manager, and housekeeper.
Chief executive Mark Courtice said: “In common with all organisations we do have some staff turnover and in recent times we have used this as an opportunity to streamline some aspects of our organisation.
“We do not comment on individual staffing issues including redundancies, but our reorganisation is both intended to save money where possible and maintain our programme and service at the highest standards.”
