A COUNTRY pub in the Meon Valley has been named one of Britain’s best for traditional food.
The Thomas Lord, in West Meon, made the top 25 in a list published by The Times yesterday.
The village, named the best in Britain by The Times last year, was again hailed for its “quintessential” Englishness, while the pub was praised for its rustic atmosphere and poached lobster main.
