THE Mayor of Winchester’s next charity event will have an international theme.
The Flamenco Evening at the Guildhall on Saturday, September 27 promises a Tapas supper, jugs of Sangria and the Jero Serec Flamenco Company of Spanish dancers.
Doors open at 7.00pm for 7.30pm.
Profits will go to Cllr Eileen Berry’s nominated charities; The 1st Winchester Scout group, SSAFA, Blue Apple Theatre Company and Together for Mental Wellbeing.
The mayor said: “I will be bringing colour, something really different and lots of fun. I have been a great supporter of Flamenco dancing since visiting Spain in the 1960’s and this is a wonderful opportunity for people to let their hair down and have fun.”
Shentons Solicitors are supporting the Mayor’s Flamenco Evening and are one of a number of groups who have already booked a table for six.
Tickets are still available at £30 and can be obtained from The Winchester Guildhall Tourist Information Office or from Janet Read on 02392 257565 or read.janet.h@gmail.com
