A MAN was today rescued after getting stuck in a window of a Winchester house.
Firefighters had to remove the frame to free the 19-year-old who had forgotten his keys after a night out.
They were called out to a house in May Tree Close, Badger Farm, at about 2.30am today.
Watch manager Kev Robson, of Winchester Fire Station, said: “He tried to get in through the smallest window possible and managed to get stuck.
“We had to do a little bit of first aid because the glass had broken and cut his arms. We had to break in and remove the frame and take him out with the window. He was chatting away and was quite amusing.”
The man, believed to be a student, was treated by South Central Ambulance and was taken to hospital.
