AN ALPACA farm in the Meon Valley near Droxford is to open its doors tomorrow for one day only.

Discounted alpacas will be sold on the day, and there will be a tour and fleece weaving demonstration.

Farm owners Karen and Peter Oglesby started in 1998 and have won national awards for the quality of their studs.

They hold regular training courses, offering lessons to aspiring alpaca breeders in how to select, breed and look after an alpaca herd.

Meon Valley Alpacas, on Midlington Hill, will be open from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday, August 24.

Entry costs £5 for adults and £2 for OAPs and children over five. For more information visit mvalpacas.co.uk call 07912 347 144.
