COMMUTER traffic in Winchester was brought to a standstill following a small car fire at Winnall.
Firefighters were called to Winnall roundabout, near junction 9 of the M3, after reports that a Mazda had caught fire.
It is not yet known how the fire began.
No one was injured and the flames were distinguished within half an hour after one Winchester appliance was sent out at 7.20am.
