FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fourth fire in a fortnight at Winchester Prison yesterday.
It happened around lunchtime on Monday, August 4, days after a similar incident where an inmate set fire to his waste paper basket (July 30).
The previous week three people were taken to hospital after two fires broke out in the early hours of the morning of Wednesday, July 23.
The first was at 1.38am in a cell and the second at 3.05am in a cell in a separate wing.
