THE head coach at Littleton Tennis Club is set to cycle 1500 miles for Prostate Cancer UK in memory of his stepfather.
Chris Hughes' journey starts on August 1, at Roy Bowen's birthplace, Seeboden in Austria, to his final resting place in Sarlat la Caneda, France.
He will cycle 100 miles per day for 15 days.
His route will take him via Winchester, where he hopes to drum up support from friends to cycle with him to Poole.
He said: “This cause is very close to my heart. So many of you generously donate to worthy causes and events, throughout the year, year on year, but please consider giving whatever you can, however big or small, to make this challenge worthwhile.”
