WINCHESTER commuters are set to be disrupted for over five months on one of the busiest routes into the city.

Road works are due to start on Monday (July 21) to create sufficient access for large vehicles for the new Pitt Manor development at Romsey Road.

The works are due to last some 22 weeks affecting commuters accessing the Badger Farm roundabout, via the A3090 from Hursley and Badger Farm Road, and parents travelling to and from St. Peter’s Roman Catholic School.
