Winchester charity receives a touch of TLC from Hampshire volunteers
A TEAM of volunteers from a Hampshire County Council highways subcontractor has spent a day helping out at a children's hospice.
Naomi House's Tina Starbuck said: “We are so grateful for the support from Amey and its wonderful staff. There were so many jobs to do in our grounds and the team just got stuck in and did it so cheerfully.
“It is only through support such as Amey's that we can provide the care to the children and young people and the families who rely on us.”
David Ogden, Amey's account director in Hampshire, said: “Our support for Naomi House is part of Amey's commitment to invest in the communities it works in, and I'm very pleased it's made a real difference for to this important charity.”
