ROAD works are due to begin on the A34 and the A33 in approximately two weeks time.

Drainage maintenance will be carried out on the A33 southbound link from the B3047 in Kings Worthy to the A34. The road will be closed, between 10pm and 6am, until Friday 11 April (Monday to Friday only).

Vehicles under 5 metres will be diverted via the B3047, through Winchester city centre to the M3 junction 9 roundabout.

Vehicles higher than 5 metres will be diverted east along the B3047 towards Alresford, on the A31 to the A272 Spitfire Link to access the M3 Junction 9 roundabout.
