AT £700 it has to be Hampshire’s most expensive hairdo – even by celebrity standards.

But that is the price one woman paid to have her tresses tended by the county’s hairdresser to the stars Guy Kremer.

Businesswoman, Aga Evans paid the hair-raising sum to support women with breast cancer – and she said it was worth every single penny.

“It sounds crazy, doesn’t it when you think of £700 on a haircut, but it was a fantastic cause and having that experience to be pampered by Guy was just absolutely fabulous. I felt like a celebrity!”

Guy, who this year is celebrating 40 years of hairdressing, donated the wash, cut and blow dry, to support breast cancer charities and Aga, who lives near Romsey and is pregnant with her first child, was the highest bidder.

She spent a morning in the Winchester salon enjoying the same treatment Guy has given to the most glamorous women in the world including Dame Shirley Bassey and supermodel Helena Christensen.

The famous Frenchman, who is voted as one of the top hairdressing educators of the century and constantly in demand for fashion shows and magazine work including Vogue and The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine, styled Aga’s blonde locks by putting in extra layers.

“It’s much more glam and he’s given me such a good cut, it’s really easy to manage at home. Even my husband said it looks absolutely fantastic,” Aga, who runs a software company, added.

For Guy, whose styling prices start from £70, having someone pay £700 for his expertise is a record.

“I was very flattered, I was just overcome. It’s just amazing that someone would pay that much money. She’s a very kind-hearted woman and it was an honour to make her hair fabulous.”
