WINCHESTER Film Festival has announced its programme for the 2014.

The festival, established in 2010, aims to screen great films in great locations, showing both classic and more recent films in atmospheric places and spaces in and around Winchester.

Each year it strives to find new and interesting locations that provide the perfect settings in which you can re-discover classic films, or even catch them for the first time.

This year organisers offer Hitchcock’s Strangers on a Train on a tennis court, The Hunchback of Notre Dame in the Cathedral, Orson Welles’s F for Fake in an art gallery and the Classic Ealing comedy, The Ladykillers in a High Street bank!

As in previous years proceeds go to charity. The main beneficiary will be Blue Apple Theatre, and the proceeds from The Ladykillers will go to the Alzheimer’s Society.

The programme: Thursday April 3 - Knights of the Round Table, The Great Hall; Friday April 4 - The Ladykillers, Lloyds Bank; Saturday April 6 - Strangers on a Train, Winchester Racquet & Tennis Club; Monday April 7 - A Bunch of Amateurs, Chesil Theatre; Tuesday April 8 - Henry's Crime, Theatre Royal; Wednesday April 9 - The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Cathedral; Friday April 11 - F For Fake, The Gallery, Discovery Centre; Sunday April 13 - Great Expectations, Assembly Room, St Johns House.
