HAMPSHIRE train services were disrupted when a tree fell across the track north of Winchester this morning.

The fallen tree crashed down at around 7am between Winchester and Micheldever but has now been removed and services are beginning to get back to normal.

But Network Rail was warning this morning that journeys between Eastleigh and Basingstoke may still be delayed by up to 60 minutes while services recover.

South West Trains and Cross Country services were affected.
