STAFF at a Winchester business are celebrating after scooping a prestigious national industry award for the second year running.
Bang & Olufsen Winchester won Dealer of the Year at the company’s annual conference in Madrid.
It follows regional recognition at the Winchester Business Awards where the store was a finalist in the Business of the Year category.
John Marshall, managing director and owner of the store in the Square, which sells televisions, sound systems and other home technology, said: “We are absolutely delighted – this really is a complete team award. This is only the second time the same dealer has won Dealer of the Year in consecutive years.
“To be recognised as the best Bang & Olufsen store in the UK and Ireland is a tremendous achievement and requires a total focus on customer service.”
A panel of judges highlighted its marketing innovations, store layout, high levels of customer service and re-investment into the business as the main reasons for its top position.
