Otterbourne man died of a heart attack after jogging, inquest told
A FATHER from Otterbourne died of a heart attack while on business in China, an inquest heard.
Roger Preston was 48 when he collapsed after jogging on the morning of May 10 this year.
The hearing in Winchester on Wednesday (NOV 20) was told that Mr Preston, of Main Road, was a manufacturing manager and had been staying in Jiangshu Province.
A pathologist’s report found that Mr Preston had suffered a cardiac arrest.
Assistant coroner Mrs Sarah Whitby recorded a verdict of death due to natural causes.
