Winchester firefighters free pensioner stuck in furniture
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a Winchester pensioner who had become trapped in her furniture.
The 90-year-old is thought to have fallen into her chair in her home in St Peter Street.
A crew from Winchester Fire Station took about an hour to gently cut the furniture and free the woman yesterday morning. She was not thought to have been seriously hurt.
