AN INTERNATIONAL bestselling author visited Winchester Discovery Centre today (October 28) to launch his new book series.
Eoin Colfer, author of Artemis Fowl, was at the launch of his newest series W.A.R.P. to sign the first book, The Reluctant Assassin.
The book features a 17-year-old disgraced FBI agent, Chevie Savano, and Riley, the reluctant young assassin, who are thrown together when a wormhole dating back to 1898 is discovered.
A Publisher’s Weekly review said: “Colfer blends grisly moments of horror, sharply funny dialogue, science fiction spectacle, and characters with depth to create a story that strikes the ideal balance between escapist fun and thoughtful commentary on the ways history, both personal and global, can shape a person.”
