Red Rose Association walking Test Way for charity
THE RED Rose Association will be walking to raise money for young disabled people in this year’s Test Way Walk.
On Sunday, October 6, scores of people are expected to walk the stretch, which covers approximately 45 miles from Inkpen Beacon to Totton.
There are six different routes available, the longest being the marathon between St Mary Bourne alongside the Bourne Rivulet, as well as distances of 16, 11, 8, 5 and 2 miles with routes backing in to Romsey.
All routes will be marshalled and sign-posted and end in Romsey's Memorial Park. Check-in is at Crosfield Hall in Romsey, from where buses will transport those to their required start points.
Money is also being raised at the charity’s fairytale-themed evening later in the year at St Mary’s Stadium.
On Friday, November 22, the charity will host an evening of light entertainment as well as a three-course meal.
Tickets cost £49.50 though places are limited. Please call Cara on 02380721234 (option 1) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
