A MAN has been cut free from the wreckage of a crash near Martyr Worthy.

The man was driving a silver Honda Civic when it overturned on the A33 just after 8am today.

Firefighters were called to the scene from Winchester Fire Station and they removed the roof of the car.

No other vehicles were involved and the man was taken to Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The road was closed southbound but is due to reopen shortly.
