A WINCHESTER pub landlord who admitted attacking his wife has been ordered to do 180 hours community service.
Rob Plunton, 25, formerly managing tenant at The Ship Inn, in Wales Street, pleaded guilty to assault by beating of Hannah on July 4.
Plunton, listed as now living c/o Woodgreen Road, Harestock, lost his job and his home as a result of the attack.
Magistrates at Basingstoke also ordered Plunton pay a £60 victim surcharge and £80 costs.
The couple took over The Ship last summer. After the incident it closed but has since reopened under new management.
They tied the knot at St Peter’s Catholic Church in Winchester, with reality TV star and pop singer, Yousseph ‘Chico’ Slimani, as their best man.
