THE investigation in to a major fire in Winchester is ongoing.
Two weeks after the blaze caused the partial collapse of a building on Hatherley Road, Fulflood, Hampshire Fire and Rescue confirmed they are still looking into the cause.
Forty firefighters tackled the flames as they tore through a soon-to-be completed two-storey housing complex on August 22.
The front of the building buckled and ten neighbouring families were evacuated.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said they had been working with fire authorities to establish whether or not the cause was suspicious, but declined to comment further.
